INGREDIENTS
- 3 medium ripened bananas
- ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup wholemeal flour (can sub for gluten-free)
- ¼ cup almond meal
- ¾ cup Nuvia Baking
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1tsp baking soda
METHOD
- 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a bread tin with baking paper and/or lightly spray or grease with coconut oil.
- 2. In a bowl mash together the bananas, coconut oil and egg until well combined.
- 3. In a separate large bowl, place all of the remaining ingredients (except the choc chips) followed by the egg, banana and coconut oil mixture - mix well to combine.
- 4. Once combined, add in the chocolate chips and gently fold through.
- 5. Place batter into the lined bread tin (add any extra choc chips on top for decoration and extra chocolatey goodness!) and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
